    And artistic freedom and comedy

    are they going to have some prologue
    When it comes back like Gone with the Wind?

    Are they going to apologize because human beings seek religion to have an identity and sense of worth and purpose? And that humans who don’t have a sense of humor will kill other humans that do ?

    false advertising
    If they say they have South Park and they got rid of some episodes cause it was offensive

    I mean Sansa Stark getting rapped wasn’t offensive ? South Park is a cartoon

    highly devout religious people aren’t watching HBO Max

    People who don’t give a damn about political correctness are the ones watching South Park

    Muhammad was a monster and the Islamic texts really are not very impressive and lack the depth of the Jewish texts.

    Regardless, I am surprised South Park has survived as long as it has.

    Perhaps. Fox pulled the “Wish Upon a Weinstein” episode several years ago from future Family Guy airings. Whenever there are raunchy shows directly attacking certain groups, there will always be tension. I’m mostly defending HBO because they have the best original programming imo. Largely indifferent about the South Park decision. I like South Park though I’ve gotten tired of it in recent years

    What’s next the Canadian episodes of south park ? This is getting out of hand. Pretty soon quickie mart will be edited out on the episodes of the Simpsons

    The audience for South Park is an audience who doesn’t care about being politically correct or culturally sensitive
    The audience is the one who enjoys outrageous satire

    Their satire is done on purpose not because it was a standard for their time in the entertainment industry

    we can’t even be entertained now without some bs

    they are definitely cherry picking certain religions over others and topics as well

    there were some fun arguments about this topic a few years ago. some of the hardline muslim posters who dont seem to be here anymore were basically saying its ok to kill parker and stone b/c their cartoon showed muhammed. they equated showing a picture of the koran to physically assaulting someones mother.

    meanwhile, christianity and jesus are mocked way more by that show.

    and south park is still great! the season-long linear plot-lines are very timely...pc principal and pc culture run amok, gentrification (sodosopa), weed farming, china censorship, ect.

    Companies have always made decisions that they think will improve their bottom line. This is no different.

    I mean, whatever. A company can do whatever they want to do.
