they call him "old man" at 28 lol he said in the presser today But yeah I read on a couple different sites that they named him captain
I miss Chuck. I'm still trying to get excited about our team not having him. He will do great in Sactown.
Genius move by Daryl Morey. Let Chuck teach Marcus Cousins about maturity so he's no longer a malcontent for his stint with the Rockets.
What are you talking about? Marcus Cousin - former UH Cougar, played with Utah last year, signed with the Rockets in the offseason DeMarcus Cousins - Drafted #5 last year by Sacramento, has never played for the Rockets.
I think that was the sole purpose of bringing in chuck....get them some leadership on the court...besides no one on the team should really feel snubbed by the move, except for maybe Garcia, but he's not the leader-type and his role has been diminishing lately, while his injuries have increased.

Players chose to keep Hayes' jersey in the locker room during Tuesday's preseason game against the Warriors. And players broke their huddles by saying "Chuck!" Westphal joked that won't happen anymore to avoid inflating Hayes' ego. Cousins said the Kings' "prayers were answered" when they found out Hayes was healthy. "Chuck was that veteran leader on this team," Cousins said. "Chuck was basically the voice on this team, the most experienced. That's who we all looked up to, and when Chuck left, that was a big piece of our team." ... [/rquoter]
