Anyone watching this game? It's a great game with big plays by Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce. The refs are clearly on Boston side though. The Hawks are gonna have a miraculous season. They are young, talented and atheletic. They have the ability to challenge Celtics' cocky Big 3.

good game, paul pierce with the game winner, im surprised the hawks played them well the rest of the game without josh smith. hawks are gonna be fun to watch and the rivalry between the hawks and celtics is even gonna be more fun to watch..

this game just told me that rockets is better suited for half court play than react schemes.. hawks are quick and athletic

Disagree about the Refs--the Hawks scored five of their points in the last minute off of B.S. calls.

In any event, ungodly shooting by the Hawks. 59% from three--that wouldn't have been possible with Childress! They need better bigs (and no, Horford is not a center) to succeed, though.

Throw Josh Smith into the mix and Garnett isn't scoring 25. I can promise you that.

Boston made all kinds of impossible shots to stay in this and ultimately win the game. Props to them for getting the win but the Hawks withstood everything the Celtics threw at them. This is definitely a "moral victory" for the Hawks, if you believe in those sort of things.
