    Well, season 4 begins.

Id really like to move up in the draft, especially in the top 6 or 7 picks. But also move up in general.

I have 2 picks in each of the first 4 rounds. I want to trade like 2 4th rounders for a 3rd rounder, 2 3rd rounders for a 2nd rounder, etc. contact me.

I'll trade you my 3rd rounder (if I have one--I do have one?) for 2 4th rounders. Did you tell Franchise that you are drafting for me?

    Manny,
Just so you know, salaries don't have to match. And, you don't have to pay Franchise anything, cash-wise, if he'll accept the deal without the money. You could trade Joe Prospect, who makes 100K, for Jeff Allstar, who makes 10 million, if you wanted; congratulations, you've added 10 million dollars to your payroll. If you can talk the other team into giving you 10 million cash (or any amount) to help cover that, great, but it's not compulsory.

thanks for the info. I hope everyone will be patient with me as I try to figure out what the hell to do. :)

After second thought, I better hold on to Reggie Sanders..I went back and edited the post you quoted.

Young stud prospect Dallas McPherson, quality leadoff David Eckstein, and superstar Preston Wilson are available and possibly others if they take your interest.

Nobody except for Reggie Sanders and Trevor Hoffmann is safe from being traded on my team, the Padres. If there is anyone that interests you, let me know and I'll try to work out a trade. May take several prospects for one player.

The Giants are now fielding offers for Barry Bonds. I need help at SS, 1B, and OF. What I would really like to deal him for is a decent OF to replace him and a stud prospect(probably pitcher) or two in return. Make offers here....

Luke Hudson Jason Jennings and possibly Cliff Brumbaugh are available. For me to take on any players with salary however i would have to add in someone from my team with salary. I do not have a problem taking on someone you have that has a 2+ years and adding someone from my team that has 1 or less years left. So basically what it boils down to is that if you want one of my prospects you will have to take on one of my salaries as well.

Past Rookie of the Year, Jason Hart, is available.

I need a 2nd baseman or Short Stop of equal potential and quality for him.

He's having a bit of a down year, but his previous seasons have produced very nice numbers...

Id like to trade for a power hitting 1st baseman with B or higher on defense. Must be better than Mike Sweeny.

Chipper Jones is available, one of if not the top third baseman in the game. I am looking for good young player(s), prospects or in the majors. Any position is fine, except for probably 1B and outfield. Let me know if you guys have any interest-- Chipper is a good, good, brilliant, good, good hitter, and can play 3B, SS, 1B, or OF.

Prospect 2B Marcus Giles is also available...

John Olerud is available. He's an excellent veteran 1B. He's having an off year SO FAR in batting average, but is still doing excellent in runs, rbis, hrs, etc.
