With all of the money questions here lately, it got me to thinking about the guy who says there is millions of dollars in unclaimed money that the government is just waiting to send you. I know it sounds too good to be true but I wanted to see if anyone here has typed in their name to see if anything was owed them. I went to cash unlimited dot com and it said i had 323.00 in unclaimed money and for 11.00 I could have a 30-day subscription and they would give me the address, phone number, and why the money belonged to me. Sounds like a scam but wanted to ask: Anyone try this? Does it work?
I occasionally search for my parents' benefit as well as other people I know. On one occasion, I found that some friends were owed $200+. They went through the normal steps to claim it and did not have to pay anyone to get the entire amount.
of course it's real. a bunch of free money, that someone just wants everyone to get in on. sounds totally legit.
It is very legit, I was able to get close to 300 for some jobs I held as a teenager. My mother was able to find close to 500 for an old bank account that for reason owed her money. Sorry, the link you provided wasn't legit, just cut out the middle man and search your name to see if the state has money for you. I have searched my family, friends, etc and many of them have money just sitting there waiting to be claimed.
Search Results... We located $1,133.24 which may belong to Jesus Christ. ...Lol. Yeah, ok this is obviously a scam job, but you can search for unclaimed money/property through Government sites.
the website is not as important....I just want to know if any of them work. I appreciate the state of Texas site; that is really what I wanted to find.
missingmoney.com links you up to legit government and state sites. I've doing searches on all the states I live in and there was one result of interest, listing a former adress of mine and saying that Austin CC has less than $100 in my name...

We found about $90 that's owed to my deceased gradfather on the Texas site a few years ago. The amount of time and the number of documents we would have to produce to get my grandmother the $90 simply wasn't worth it.
There was another, more recent thread, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, just got a check for $108. I filed for it about 4 months ago.
