Seems like a lot of people here are either affiliated with the Rockets or have been fortunate to have chance meetings with scouts, players, etc. I was wondering about "insider info" that the rest of you have had at some point or another? Personally, I've never met a player randomly, or been told any inside info about anything interesting. I knew that Champion's (paper company) was merging before it actually did. Whoopee! Oh well, at least I can start this topic without looking like I'm bragging. Any information about anything is fair game... and if it's too private, you can just give us hints! ------------------ Clutchcity.net... source for all your Rockets, Astros, political, music, humor, and Gordita news. I knew that Boatman's Bank was buying First National Bank of Amarillo before it happened. I used to get all sorts of inside information about the Amarillo Dillas baseball team, but that was because I was inside (as the Media Relations Director), and who cares about inside information about the Dillas anyway? (And sometimes, my information was made-up anyway). ------------------ Why not visit MovieForums.com? Or FilmDallas.com?
I know Felipe Lopez (Timberwolves now Free Agent)through my cousin so I get some minor inside scoops, free tickets , and those guest passes to get you back there. Don't really ask him too much about the real inside stuff. Just knew little things he would mention during the season like when he was waived and him telling me what his options were before they were reported in the paper and stuff that he was frustrated with. No biggie... ------------------ [This message has been edited by wizard (edited July 09, 2001).]

I think it's great you're a teacher, Raven. So, will be you lecturing from a standardized text or using the more socratic method of interactive class participation? ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams and Lisa Malosky fan club. atheistalliance.org
