Now, because we have so many road games left (about 20 out of our last 35 games), and because the Rox can't pull their heads out of their collective asses to win an important road game, we are in a position to almost HAVE TO WIN THE NEXT THREE!! That means winning in Cleveland tomorrow night, and then BOTH GAMES WITH UTAH. If we can get those three victories in a row, I think the Team and fans will have a little more confidence for the stretch run. I really do believe that other West. Conf. teams will have some issues before the end of the season, but the Jazz is probably one of the best coached teams in the league. They just don't make that many mental mistakes and they STAY WITHIN THEIR SYSTEM!!! Still, we have the talent to beat them, and WE NEED TO IF WE'RE GOING TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!! So, now, let's send all the positive mojo we can muster to the Rox in Ohio!!
I know you won't like what I will say because I am a Jazz fan also, but remember, the Jazz is nothing compared to my love of the Rockets. Beat the Jazz twice? Yeah right! It ain't gonna happen. I don't think there is a single team (maybe the Spurs) can beat the Jazz back to back. They are too experienced for this.
you're right it's tough to beat the jazz in back-to-back game. but there are a few teams: lakers, kings, blazers and mavericks, that can do that. jazz is veteran team, but the rockets can win one out of two games.
We are the 8th seed in the West. And Lakers has reached .500! Do u really wanna strike for playoff, Rox?
There's nothing we could do about Lakers. With the way they play lately, they will definitely be in the playoff, quite possibly 4th or 5th seeds. Their next three opponents are Knicks, Nuggets, and Nuggets That's almost guaranteed 28-25. Meanwhile, Rockets can only pray they do better than Minnesota, Utah, or Phoenix. Sigh.... Looks like Rockets are not gonna make it Shaq-Kobe.... will Steve-Yao ever defeat them?
Bingo! Kobe prevailed like Mike when he started to play in their system. In the NBA and NFL, the most competitive team sports on the planet, it is always the system that glorifys the great players. The Rockets will have to do anything to make Steve buy that. Play within the system. Let the game come to you. And take it over in the crunch time.
