I'd like to know what the Rockets could get in place of Ming as well.

I want Ming on this team. But can other teams get the attention of the Rockets by enhancing the original trade proposals? How COMMITED are the Rockets to drafting Ming?

Mings potential is overwhelming. But on the other hand, a couple of quality veteran players could elevate the Rockets to challenge the Lakers, Mavericks, Kings, and Spurs for a title next year.

This will be a long 3 days!!!

I think the Rockets are 99.9% commited to Ming barring some type of falling out with the the Chinese government. It would just be waisting valuable time going all the way to China to just make it seem like we had a deal in place so we could get better trade offers. It would be waisting other team's time by making trade offers to us for the pick since we've all but assured taking Ming.

I hope you are right. The only thing that concerns me is that the FIBA letter isn't in place. The Sharks have agreed with Ming; supposedly this was the hold up. Yet, the CBA and Ming are discussing other things that aren't monetary concerns? What are these concerns?

Could this sabatoge the predestined Ming dynasty in Houston?
