gmrmfao. he says my name like my aunts from (aaron)... all ghetto and stuff. i'm sure the movie won't live up to the hype, but that's not a bad thing. the hype has been fun as heck.
Honestly... I'm thinking this movie is a flop. But I think it is still going to be one of those movies that stand the test of times as a classic, if that makes any sense.
You guys know that Sam Jackson made this movie as a joke...and basically the only reason it's getting promoted so much is because of the tremendous cult following the movie gained months before it was scheduled to come out, right?
I'm going to abuse the crap out of this tomorrow to annoy everybody I know. Too bad I can't wake up everyone I know at 2 in the morning with a message from Samuel L.
if the clips here (mainly the first labeled "enough") don't get you pumped to see how ridiculously stupid/funny this movie is... then something's wrong. i'll be at edwards theater on friday at the first showing.
oh man that "enough" clip was classic. i'm sure me and some buddies could get a real kick out of watching this but i'll wait till the dvd.
i was just thinking i haven't seen much stuff on SoaP recently and didn't realize it was coming out on the 18th and there are probably plenty of others that don't know either (despite the massive hype). but this is a pretty good way to get that out there w/o paying for commercials. people love to annoy people they know and sameul l. jackson's voice is always funny to listen to so i'm betting quite a few people send this out. these snakes on a plane people are riding the cheap marketing train all the way. i keep wondering if the movie will be a huge flop at the box office. like at the moment of truth, when it comes time to actually spend money to see the movie, will people finally get off the bandwagon and just assume everyone else will see it. or will there be lines at all the friday showings and will it have a huge opening (at least for a movie like this). it'll be interesting. i'm rooting for the huge opening, but am somewhat pessimistic. either way, it's been a good ride and the movie is already damn famous.
For 35 million to make, this movie will be a smash and they'll make more than enough from DVDs. I'm still wondering how a premise so stupid has forced people to watch the damn movie and make even more people watch it.
I bet all these people buying t-shirts and thinking up fake quotes for the movie won't even watch it when it comes time to put the money down. I think they're all talk, that they've been on the bandwagon just because it's the new "Chuck Norris" and they're really not interested in seeing it. Prove me wrong, people.
The fact that they went back and gored/sexed it up makes me anxious to see it. I'm tired of all these family PG-13 movies.
yeah... i've already sent the vid via cellphone to a few friends. about the clip... cheesy "hero" music, cheesy line, and keenan looking like "wtf?" when sam jack said the line was priceless. it seems like a movie that would only be enjoyable with a group of people. i predict a 40 mil opening weekend. 2006, the year of the wii and snakes on a plane. wii have snakes on a mf'ing plane.
