I do too I honestly thought they could have come back to win that game. 12 points with 3 minutes to go was doable. I haven't given up on this team. Im frustrated as hell, im frustrated that the offensive isnt working the defense isnt working and the Rockets can't even get the ball up the court without losing it. Its a sad day, but im praying for Rafer to return but I have faith. Rockets will make the playoffs this year you saw it here too
second that! I have watched NBA for 30+ years, I know what Rick Adelman can do. I am 100% confident that Rick will get this team pass at least 1st round.
It is the team's attitude they are the ones that need to BUY in completely to the system. Right now they are trying to tippy toe around it, and it is killing them. Either buy in and go for broke or hit the bench, and that includes Yao and Tmac. DD
making the playoffs is not considered much of an accomplishment considering what was put into this team. so far this has been a 22 game disappointment.
I am a die hard Rockets fan and this is what it feels to be a Rockets fan for the time being. I am sure something will be done to improve the team but time is already against the team. Moves if they are to be made must be done soon.
I hate overly optimistic threads as much as the negative threads. Blind faith can only get you so far. Sorry.
im not going to go out and predict a championship, I just don't do that anymore. I thought Dallas would sweep all before them last year and well, you saw what happened. I know this team is capable of a championship, we've seen them. Phoenix was beaten, Utah was ripped, Spurs was owned. This team can play at a high level, it can win games and be unstoppable. For whatever reason they just aren't clicking together. Im not asking for people to have patience, im saying I have faith in this team to do big things.

Man, I wish I were a betting man. I could make so much money by betting that the Rockets will not make it to the second round this year....
It's a talented team and it's a very deep team. Finding issues in the beginning is much better than finding them at the end. They are professionals and they can figure things out. The team seems cannot keep the defense intensity throughout a game. Currently I think they should improve their offense efficiency, and let the defense close a game at the end.
Though I strongly believed our current dismay play is due to our players haven't fully learn Adelman offense but would I wait for a year or two for them to learn it as mentioned by Jon. I don't know. I wanted to win now but then looks like it would need a miracle for our guys to learn the new offense by All Star Break.

Getting to the first round might be a problem. The reality is that this team is a mess, with no quick fix in sight. I don't buy the "learning the system" argument. The problems are deeper than that. Not sure what they all are, but, it looks like the team is giving up on its coaching staff.
