Have actually followed a team for a whole NBA season?

I don't want to sound condescending, but really guys...

It's an 82 game season. Even the worst team in the league will win about 15-20 games. This board doesn't seem to understand that basketball is a game. The better team on paper doesn't always win, that's why we watch.

You have just witnessed two losses to teams that haven't played to their potential in the season so far. Everyone thought they would be dangerous before the season started, and so they proved to be.

The constant "Trade X for Y" threads really don't add much to this board (X = whoever was perceived to play badly last game, and Y = whoever is the star on the team we lost to). Francis is basically untouchable for a trade, whatever people here may think. No team will straight up trade away their superstar unless there are chemistry/personal problems (see Kidd for Marbury), and I'm not aware of a player in that position in the league in the moment.

We're above .500, we've beaten some good teams, and just need a little consistency/chemistry. It'll come with time. Even if we get to the All-Star break at 21-21 (or whatever), a good string of consistent results would see us into the playoffs.

    Patience peopl!

    GB,

Excellent post my friend. Could not have said it better myself.

People keep forgetting that this is still a very young team trying to incorportate a dominant center into the offense. These things dont happen overnight. It takes time. Sometimes 2 or 3 seasons.

Patience is what this team's fans need. :D
