    He's been getting assists.

    I don't give a crap.

    I want him to score.

ONLY if he is double teamed.....then he should pass.

Infact one of his problem, I think, is he always try to pass first.
When he cannot pass, it leave less time to score.

I agree Yao needs to get more aggressive at scoring instead of trying to pass first. Yao has a better chance at scoring with guys on him than Griffin or Posey wide open. To Yao: Stop passing and start scoring, you are our best option right now!

I actually agree that Yao is not passing the ball as much as he used to. However, it's not his fault that his teamates are all standing at the 3 point line and refuse to cut the basket.

Yao is always double teamed. When he is under the double-team, his shooting percentage is not very good and he's not very confident to score. I think that's why he always passes first. If the other rockets player can move fast to an open position to attract more defenses, Yao will shoot more and have higher sucess rate.

Yao always looks for the open man whenever he gets the ball in the post.. and I think that's how they're using him right now, pure bait.

If Yao likes his matchup, then he goes for the easy inside basket.

    Basically, if a team has a good PG/SG and a good C,

    1. the PG/SG should pass-first, and shoot-secound.
    2. the C should shood-first, and pass-secound

As in Lakers, no matter how good Kobe can be, Shaq is the dominance of the game.

Ironically, Yao is a pass-first guy and Francis/Mobley are shoot-first guys.

I agree, it looks like Yao isn't passing the ball as much as before. But isn't this what everyone wanted?

Unfortunately, that is one of the Rocket problem. They need to reverse the roles. :(

Yao would average 5 assists per game, I think, if the Rockets had better jump shooters.

There were 3 times that I noticed (and possibly more) when Yao passed out of a double to someone for a wide-open 3.

    Clang. Clang. Clang.

Well, it's hard to pass the ball when it's getting stripped from you...

DuH, Stevie and Mobley would average 5 more assists a game if the Rox had better jump shooters.
