I know a T-Mac thread again If not relevant enough please lock it up ... Has T-Mac Played His Last Game In Houston? Mar 02, 2009 10:33 AM EST There are some around the NBA that believe Tracy McGrady has played his final game as a member of the Rockets. He had microfracture surgery last week, and his contract expires at the end of next season. Houston was reportedly trying to trade him before it was revealed that he needed the career-threatening procedure. "In the worst-case scenario, we recommended a procedure that is going to end his career," said Tom Clanton, the Rockets' well-respected doctor. "It is a risky knee surgery. Not everybody that has microfracture surgery comes back and plays basketball, much less NBA-level basketball. Tracy knows that." http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/57636/20090302/has_t_mac_played_his_last_game_in_houston/
While RealGm and Hoopshype give good trade and salary indicators, their reporting stinks. I'd avoid them...
I doubt it. He will be back and I'm not just saying that because of my s/n. I believe this is just the media doing their job. Obviously when a high rated player is hurt or not playing good the media dogs them. Perfect example. Shaq. Now look at the media. They are on shaqs balls. Haters are going to hate and find a way to say something but he will be back. He has another year on his contract and he will be playing for something.
Agreed. I think McGrady's recent comment about playing with Shaq or taking Pierce's place on the Celtics is the last straw as that is clearly a shot a Yao IMO.
The dude is just a locker room wrecking ball, and a me first player, the team is better off without him. I hope he gets healthy and is happy elsewhere. DD
Why do you guys keep trying to make something out of that statement.... As someone pointed out in the orginal thread, T-Mac has had to carry the load iin every playoff... Yao has either been hurt or a non-factor in every playoff; even last year if T-Mac would have had some help they could have gotten out of the first round and this was with a hurt T-Mac. Now granted he has handled things badly and in a non-professional manner, but the man just basically told the truth.
Maybe, I don't really know how much he loves basketball. If really truly loves it, he will be able to play basketball again.
Guys, I don't know about all of you, but I seriously think that we need to move steve francis to the two.
well I think the fact that Tmac stated... he wanted to get back to 100% just in time for the 2010 sweep stakes is pretty telling... im shocked the Tmac fans boys didnt pick up on that??? or is it just selective memory... well I guess he could mean he would be on the phone calling up all the free agents... to come over and play with the Rox... even though the rest of the league views Tmac and Yao as soft and injury prone... and the best free agent we could find, who was willing to come over...in Tmac's 5 years here... was a overweight Bonzi Wells
Has Rookie34 posted his last thread on clutchfans? Some hope he has Enough with Tmac, it's like some of you sit around all day and think what can I do to bring up old drama in the forums today!
