i LOVE that movie. in fact its my 3rd all time favorite movie. we watched it at school this week. it is superb. the premise is that jamaica enters a bobsled team in the winter olympics. for those who arent geography buffs jamaica is an extremely warm climate island in the carribean sea. its superb
    has anyone seen it?

I must be a minority, because I thought this movie absolutely stunk.

Cool Runnings:pretty good movie, and a great location [IMG]. As I'm sure you all know, it was shot in Calgary, Alberta, my hometown.

Since we're on the subject of John Candy flicks, another classic is "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" with Steve Martin. Tons of laughs. Anyone see Canadian Bacon?

    Cool Running was good.
Plane, Train & Automobiles was great also.

    Other great comedies:
    Ace Ventura (the original)
    Dumb and Dumber
    Nutty Professor (Hurcules! Hurcules!)
Harlem Nights (love that stuttering dude)

I could go on and on...
