i'm sure he's talking about Chase Bank's promotion of being the 500th account holder to use their debit card gets their meal comped. something like that. he wants to know if the promotion is legit.

Nope, but I do get the 1% and sometimes 5% reward by using their card.

I've been meaning to ask a banker about that. Spoke to a teller nod you need to enroll into that promotion.

Ummmm... nope. Not yet. :( I hope they do. You said you had to enroll? Why, that's a bummer... you'd figure they'd want you to stay with them and continue to use their card (while you put more money in the bank), not have to do anything extra like "enrolling in something."

I don't think it's a sales pitch or up sell. I was told the only person who could sign me up for it was a banker/account manager (ie. not a teller). I get it being bs though. Will address it this afternoon when I stop by.

Intern, "so umm, if we pay for their drinks maybe they'll post about it on Facebook and we'll get likes and go viral."

Is nothing much is in rolling as when you tell your bank early just gonna click 1 button and that's basically it and your "enrolled". I just started working for Chase

Lol wtf. Speech recognitiob sucks on my phone. It's not so much as enrolling, as it is that the bankers just click 1 button and your "enrolled". But I have yet to get a tab picked up by them

This probably happens one time out of every ten million transactions. Then, legally speaking, they're not lying ... but they're also not really doing anything either.
