Just a question to throw out there in case the rox make the playoffs because of the new schedule this year. If it happened before, it must happen in the second or third round of playoffs. Can't think of any on top of my head.

I think the Rockets lost 8 games to Seattle in the 95-96 season. 4-0 in the regular season, and 4-0 in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. and they were actually on a 10 game losing streak to teh Sonics dating back to the 94-95 season. the streak ended in 97' in Barkley's first game against the Sonics.

I dont think the Rox would get swept by any team in the playoffs...

But 3-1 would be the biggest option in my book.

The Rockets were 0-4 in '94-'95, 0-8 in '95-'96. I seem to remember the first game with Barkley being one that snapped a 14-game losing streak, so the Rockets also lost the last two meetings with the Sonics in '93-'94.

Of course, the Sonics played illegal defense all the time in doubling Hakeem off the ball.
