A couple of months ago something interesting started happening around here. When the toilet was flushed, you could hear the pipes humming for a few seconds-- easily heard but not loud. Tonight it ramped up. It just happened again for the third time tonight. It got really loud lasting for about 5-8 seconds. There was no flushing to instigate it. We live in the country and have a septic system if that would matter. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?
Giddy, when you said you wanted to throw all liberals into your septic tank, I thought you were kidding!!
I heard a similar situation on the radio sunday morn. The guy said to shut off the water to the toilet and see if that stops the noises. If it does, you need to buy a new toilet or something. (I really wasn't paying close attention, so you may want to get a second opinion.)
If Edwards were my neighbor, I might think it was Bill Clinton hiding from Hillary... or cooing for Monica.
