Harden's D is FINE, he just need a lighter load offensively

    This what Harden can do when he doesn't have to do everything on offense. I think with a legit post option in Dwight and hopefully improved Lin and Parsons, I can see Harden having to cheat inside less and shut down his opponents more.

    In the media day Q&A he mentioned that he worked a lot on his conditioning this off season so he could be elite on both ends of the court. He said he had a hard time last year with it being his first year playing that many minutes and being the guy. He wants to take on the task of defending the other team's best player.

    He got burned by PJ Tucker and Jodie Meeks in 2 of our most important games down the stretch last year. That's far from fine.

    there was a stretch last season the players just start lighting up with Harden guarding them. i certainly hope Harden saves energy in offense to play better defense this season
