    Yup. Pretty much the microcosm of this season, and it took 87 games for the media to finally take notice.

    You clowns that blindly hate on Harden should be ashamed of yourselves or go be a fan of the Mavs...


    Harden confirmed after the game that his ankle was messed up in preseason. Didn't use it as an excuse he whole season, just came and played hard and had his teammates let him down over and over...

    And all of Harden's TO came from passes? Why does he have to create offense for our team every single time? Maybe if Dwight, Ariza and Beverly can make some shot on their own, he doesn't have to handle the ball so much?

    Maybe if we had a system that shared the ball and moved people around like the Spurs or GS do, we would not have the Steve Francis part 2 with Harden.

    Harden made a clutch defensive play in the waning moments of a playoff game.

    It just really hit me...

    We're not just done this year. We're done... for like the next five years.

    For some reason, this whole year I kept thinking... hmmmm... we just need one more piece

    I just realized, after watching that debacle, that James Harden is our only elite player. And he's more like an elite sixth man. His total and complete lack of defense and passion for the game is just... can't win like that.

    No hope for next year or the year after that or... wow... this is like a post-apocalyptic scenario. It's over.

    If Harden had no passion then I'm not sure what you can say for the rest of the team including the coach.

    There hasn't been one report of Harden not caring. Just because he's not over emo about it on the court doesn't mean he doesn't care. He takes this stuff harder then people realize, he's a the brooding type. The whole thing with OKC and how he performed in the finals proves that he does care and just because he doesn't show it the way you want him to show it doesn't mean he doesn't care at all.

    It's also VERY VERY hard to care when your coach does nothing. He just watches Livingston eat Beverly alive all game long for example...

    Harden was a top 2 player in the NBA last season, that doesn't just happen.

    We'll be fine building around Harden. We just need to surround him with people who love to catch and shoot and take the ball out of Harden's hands a little bit to protect ourselves from being overly reliant on him.
