He's thinking about all the hungry kids in Africa and why the world we live in is so unfair to the majority of its inhabitants living under the poverty line.

He's clearly consumed with the mental fapping over the Lin/Parsons bromance.

Cant blame Harden for this, no one wants the ball and yes not even Carlos. Watch the tape. Lin is the only guy on this team who has the balls to make a play without involving Harden, for which he gets benched of course.

He saw everyone's deferring to him, and the only other guy who can penetrate and breakdown defense is on the bench.

"Freedom" on offense means McHale probably drew up an amazing play, but the play ended when 'the ball is in Harden's hands'.
Too much freedom means too much responsibility, making Harden think he HAD to make the shots.

im more mad about his poor rotation on the 2 buckets that Juice made after the Rockets took the lead...Harden blew his assignment and got caught underneath Dirk on the other play...

"We lost cause of harden. Lin should take the last shot. You've seen him it game winner against Toronto. He is the best out there..."

Lol Jk... Bad shot. But that drive to the basket was good. Was he fouled?

Harden had a good look and you probably could have called a foul. Stupid to criticize.

Ehhh....there was contact, but not enough to call a foul in that situation. A call right there would've been a bailout. I can see if he absolutely got hammered, but nope....

This is what usually happens when you have a superstar with the game on the line. All the greats want the ball at the end. Sometimes you make them, sometimes you don't. That's how they earn their money.

Teams don't usually run set plays in these situations. They'll run something to get their guy the ball and the superstar you pay big bucks is suppose to take it from there.

Dont have a problem with a Harden ISO in that situation, but still really feel like Asik and Lin should have been in there. Also Aaron Brooks is to good to be a 3rd string PG, but McHale is definetely going to be stubborn about this.

Well Said!!!!! Although in the future he will have to trust his teammates sometimes. We need a big shot Bob to pair with Harden!!!

Just one time - I would like to see a set play out of a time out. Just once. It's not that frickin' hard. Almost every other team in the league has figured out that "give the ball to the superstar" doesn't work anymore at the end of close games.

If you watch the good teams, they always exploit the lazy defender with good ball movement, passes, and cuts (see: Spurs, Warriors, Boston, Heat, etc.).

Why does this board and McHale feel the need to make Harden into Kobe 2.0? We all know it doesn't work. We've watched Kobe his entire career! We've watched Laker fans cry about Kobe going 1 vs 5 and laughed at their pain. But how come its ok, when its our guy, Harden doing the same thing? How is it something to be defended?

Don't give me the "Harden is great at ISO" argument either. Harden is a great ISO scorer - one of the best in the league - he scores 0.95 ppp in ISO situations. BUT he also scores 1.01 ppp as a PnR ball-handler and 1.08 as a spot-up shooter. RUN A FREAKING PLAY MCHALE!

one of those buckets was a result to Parsons falling down which caused a domino effect of late rotations...

this board is becoming a Lin vs. Harden forum....you guys are ruining the Houston team...

maybe we should trade Lin and all of his fans to another city...
