CONS: *might affect playoff seed *diminishes Harden's MVP chance PROS: *CP3 will get time to develop his signature chemistry with the rest of the squad. *Harden is forced to take an extended rest, which with his role and minutes, will pay off down the stretch. *Eric Gordon has been flourishing in his 'playmaker' role, which will now be expanded. *Will allow time for much needed development of guards (and other positions). *With his MVP chances reduced, Harden will be even more focused on a championship (over individual performance).
CONS: our already injury riddled squad is down another man. Our injury prone second star is forced to take on a much larger role. These are the ones that scare me the most
I hope so. Assuming that harden hamstring doesnt linger the entire season (which is a big assumption) then I see no reason why this cant be true
Cons: Either we play Chris Paul too much and he picks up a stress injury, or we put Chris on a minutes restriction and we are forced to play Weber a ton of minutes and have Eric Gordon attempt to playmake.
I really don't care about the pros and cons I just hope CP3's body can hold up till Harden gets back because you can bet with Harden is out he is going to play at least 35+ minutes.
Hopefully Chris knows how critical his health is and doesn't push himself too hard until he is fully healthy.
Gordon flourishing in his playmaker role? When. He's a turnover over machine if he doing anything other than shooting. He don't have the handles to be a facilitator
You think? Truthfully watching hardens iso hero ball sometimes can be more excruciating over watching the Franchise and no D played to boot.
