You are mixing points, I prefer two way players.

The discussion about Barkley was players who had IT.

We knew whose talent level was closer to Jordan. That is enough for me.

He delivered us to the playoffs but I don't know about IN the playoffs. Playoff Harden is still too real to me.

I really think Harden needs a star player next to him that can elevate him to the top. I don't think he can do it by himself even though he tries. He needs Durant.

This aint no Harden era... Smoove, Brew & Dwight provided the most exciting playoff performances since the 90s.

    Dwight stay puttin playoff work.

This is the Dwight era... Harden can have next.

The pace of the game was different though. I don't see a lot of players who play the minutes Harden plays at the pace he plays while carrying the offensive load he carries and also play consistent defense.

LeBron is literally the only person I can even think of. Curry is awful at defense too. He just plays in a better defensive system with better defensive players.

I actually would love to see if your conjecture reflects actual energy being used. Is there a measurement out there of amount of miles a player moves per game like in soccer?

The guy caused the team just as many games with his non-existing D, if not more. It's pathetic some people believe he actually can lead the Rockets anywhere.

People are going to turn on him and his Beard

When playing ugly the Beard is just going to be ugly and looking like a hipster bum at best.

Tinmac is actually a Harden supporter. You can get that vibe from his posts.

At the close of the season in 1992, the owner was convinced he was faking an injury and dogging it. Most of the city was ready to trade him away because they thought he didn't care about winning.

He, today, acknowledges he had to grow up and change in order to be a winner.

I see tons of parallels between that and Harden.

I'd say it's about 40% he leads the league in scoring this year.

Not sure if Curry is going to sustain in order to limit injury possibility.

Anyway yeah it's just like the Steve Francis era and its 5 glorious playoff <strike>series</strike> games in 5 years.

And East St Louis is better than Detroit but I'd rather not live in either.

Harden as a leader is not going to deliver. I think that is obvious right now.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree entirely. The guy is 26 years old, and he just took you to the WCF with an MVP caliber season. Our franchise history since Hakeem retired should tell you guys like that don't grow on trees. He's absolutely, positively the best player to play for the Rockets since Olajuwon, and I don't think there's a close second. The chances of you giving him up and replacing him with anyone near his caliber is slim to none.

Having said that...yeah...he needs to grow up some. So did a lot of players before him at this stage of their careers...including that Olajuwon fella.
