Coach needs to get on their asses and we need to play together as a team. Team identity starts with our best players and they need to get it together.

I wouldn't lump Howard in this conversation yet, but Harden on the other hand. I stated in the other thread that I'm starting to notice his disconnect and I don't like it. On that fast break where it was him and Lin, when Lin was undercut, Harden didn't even try to help Lin up or make sure he was ok.

Nothing against you OP, but I'm also tired of these type of threads, but the truth is the truth in Harden's demeanor. I really wish it wasn't going on so we could have positive threads.

damn a lot overreaction I know the lost is bad and everything but this team is till trying to figure out how to play together you can just put a player like Dwight in the middle and say ok there it is lets go on a 20 game winning streak

This is when a veteran player helps. The team needs someone like Battier.

[SI] Rockets need a more inspired Dwight Howard

If Lakers can't motivate Howard, then what will?

A former 6th man and a known whiner. We better find leadership somewhere else.

Perhaps they can seek help and guidance from HOF like McHale, one of the best 6th man himself

Harden is an awesome scorer, but I am wondering if Harden's ego has been feeling somewhat threatened by Lin because Lin has been playing well so far this season. Harden is still not putting effort on D, whereas Lin's D has noticeably improved. In the last game, Harden did not help Lin up but just looked at him when Lin was undercut. In the fourth quarter, Harden ignored both McHale and Lin when they both called for a play. Instead he did his own ISO ball thing, which failed.

we need a coach that will grill these losers.

mchale sits around idly thinking they will figure it out.

they won't. they're immature giant children who just can't.

none of these guys is a mental leader, save beverley maybe lin. the coach has to take that role and its not mchale so far

I believe he wanted to beat the Lakers, but I think he's just not wanting to keep talking about the Lakers. He wants to move on. I don't blame him because TE media is continuing to try and stir up drama.

Kobe wasnt there. Come on. Thats a yawner aint nobody gonna get up for that.

This is kinda a non issue in that we got beat by blake.

in the penis measuring game world that harden kobe howard live.. kobe wasnt there.. ony guy that matter on LA is gasol and he did nothing.. maybe get excited about stuffing nash a bit and in that sense we did win. Nash did nothing either.so we got beat by meeks and blake. Harden and howard will take that any day of week because it means nothing. Howard and Harden are about the show and getting up when its time to get up. This was a penciled W and if we lose.. who cares it was blake and meeks. We can beat those kinda guys in our sleep. so the loss means nothing.

Im not saying I agree I am just telling you the mindset.

It's times like these that you have to remember Harden is only 24 years old and still has a lot of maturing to do.

We all know that pro athlete's can be very mentally fragile from an ego standpoint, so I'm afraid that we are going to have to put up with some of this (and more-so the media sensationalism) for a couple of years. The Heat went through it, but they have two championships to show for it.
