Hit it with some Thermite

I would wipe them first before you throw them away. I watched some show a couple months ago that stated that most of the US's e-waste goes to third world countries in Africa, like nigeria, where they scavange for parts and access HD's that are not wiped.

 

I've heard urine destroys the hard drive up to the Department of Defense standards.

 

Staples recycles them and wipes them to DOD standards.
