I'm looking to buy an MP3 player. Could any of you who tell me of your personal experiences with em? I've been told the Archos Studio 20 is the best one, but there are so many negative reviews of it on various sites. I need one thats small, so count the Nomad out.

I recently bought the Rio Riot from buy.com for around $325.00 (free shipping as well). It has a 20 GByte drive and holds aorund 400 albums (over 4000 songs) saved at 128KBS. So far I like it. My only complaint (and this may be true of other hard drive MP3 players as well) is that you can't transfer FROM the Rio to your computer.

It comes with Real Jukebox and Mood Logic to transfer the music. You can create playlists, play albums, artists, etc.

If you have any particular questions, feel free to ask.

i got the rio 600 for $179.99 last year... its a piece of crap... i'm a big time runner and i bought it to listen to mp3's while i run... but the stupid piece of junk shuts off randomly for no apparent reason pretty often... you have to actually take out the batteries to reset the device... not handy at all while you're running!
