I had about 6 harassing phone calls tonight from about 10:30 to Midnight.

Every time I'd answer live, they'd hang up. Did that about twice. Then they hung up on my voice mail three times.

So, I turned my phone off for a while.

Turned it back on in about thirty minutes and yep... a voice mail with a vulgar, demented message (which I won't type out here... would be filtered anyway). Yee haw! What fun!

    Some people are so childish.

The funniest part? I know who it was. I had their number stored in my phone, and they are now a saved voice mail message... And cell phones have digital records, much less cell phone bills that show when the call was placed, and from what number, in which city.

Oh yeah... no getting out of this one, idiots. :D

Caller ID has been out, what, about 20 years or so?

I mean... I've already looked up their address by finding the latitude and longitude listed on the public database for where the number is from. Then saw what it looks like on google street view.

    There is no hiding.

If I could disclose what it was about... man it would make some of you chuckle, and others would feel ill about it.

Irony intended. Well, thought of at least. I picked that one for a reason.

I remember getting a call at about 1am one night from a Scottish bloke who said "Hey Chris, Chris......you're a w*nker!".

    They never rang again.

wait, so one can track a blocked *67 number without being an NCIS agent?
It just shows up as unknown caller on my bill. =(

    People still prank call? Really???

We constantly get harassing collection calls for whoever used to have our number. Her name is Joiner Dover, FWIW. I like to call these buffoons back from my work phone because the caller ID comes back as a generic 555 number and I have 3 different lines, which makes for ALL KINDS of fun ways to mess with these idiots.

My favorite trick is to call once, get a live rep, put him on hold and call again from another line, get another live rep, then transfer them to each other and see how long it takes them to figure out what’s happened.

I was dialing 1-800-Comcast and I don't know what I accidentally dialed. It was a adult hotline. I immediately hung up. Five minutes later, I got a call from an unknown number and let it go to voice mail. It was an "adult message" that went on and on. Yesterday, same thing. This time, I picked up the phone to stop the voice mail, hung up, deleted the message, and turned off voice mail.

    LOL...

But seriously, it was me. Got stupid drunk, rode the bike home and a big white duck hit my shield knocking me off my bike, breaking a leg.

    What can I say.....

You censored that? I don't think an American board would think twice about it.

Normally I wouldn't censor anything, but I visit a lot of message boards and have just got in the habit of censoring some words so that people know what they are rather than having a boards auto censor kick in and change the word to something completely different.

Some posts I do on English sites change harmless words to English slang....you read back what you just posted and it makes no sense at all! :D
