Happy Thanksgiving everyone ! A lot to be thankful for even in these tough times. A big hearty thank you to David Hardisty for creating this site. I hope everyone has a great turkey day, and UT beats the snot out of A&M. Ooops, just saw the turkey day thread....merge or lock....sorry. DD
We're native Texans so we said fawk the turkey, we're going with a 12 hour smoked brisket, deer sausage and beef ribs slow cooked with the brisket. I am very happy about this.
Dude that's a Fred Flinstone Thanksgiving! We don't do Turkey also. We're going with empanadas, grilled NY Strip, tortilla soup, black beans, saffron rice, spanish ommlette, buttermilk biscuits, caprese salad & apple pie ala mode.
This year we traveled to visit the great grandmas in Corpus. Sitting on my balcony over looking the Corpus Christi waters.....I’m so hungry for turkey and stuffing. The wife is combing my youngest daughters hair...my son is struggling to wake up.....they are so beautiful. I’m thankful for my family, health and my life. Happy Thanksgiving.
I want to go to your Thanksgiving. My family is doing Thanksgiving tomorrow as I've got some relatives coming in late tonight.
