Be thankful for what you have, give your wife or husband a smooch, give your kids a hug, and relish in the good that is in your life. What are you most looking forward to eating? To me, it is my wife's EXCELLENT green bean casserole, I will jump over grandparents for 2nd helpings. Happy Turkeyday clutchfans ! DD
We don't do turkey. I'm looking forward to the ham. On Thanksgiving, my wife makes the best ham in the world. Can't get enough of it. For leftovers, you can't beat ham & eggs, real ham & cheese sandwiches and just grabbing slices of ham by itself out of the fridge whenever you feel like it. I need these next 4 days off baaaad. Been working too hard, too long and need to re-charge. It's also affecting how much NBA I get to watch, which is NOT a good thing. Will be hiring another person soon. I thank God for everything I have. I'm blessed and know it. Having too much work in times like these is a humbling experience, especially since I know so many people that are struggling.
Man, I LOVE ham, if my family would embrace that...dang....I could eat ham every day of the year. Good for you ! DD

Totally righteous brahh. Let's go burn some fur coats!!! <br> On a serious note: Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday of the year. Right after Halloween!!
Hope everyone has a great one! I'll be with the wife tailgating outside of the Bosshog bowl aka Cowboy stadium then on to the game. Would be sweet if the cows lost! Wife's the cows fan not me...
Happy Thanksgiving folks... for your reading pleasure, here's Lincoln establishing the first one... Lincoln's Thanksgiving proclamation, Oct. 3, 1863: (Strange that there is nothing in there about football or Black Friday.)
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my internet sports buds! Hug your family and show you love and appreciate them today! If they aren't there in the flesh call them and love them via the phone lines!
I just picked up some oyster dressing from my mother-in-law. Now it's a tie between the dressing and ham.
Wow, just finished the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, broccoli and cheese casserole, sweet potato casserole, yeast rolls, and mashed potatoes. All homeade first time ever, just my gf and I, awesome thanksgiving! Bon apetite.
Yea mine too...I have to go to the House of Pies and pickup a pie and really don't feel like it but food ain't happening for another 3 or 4 hours so I have time....
