Just rode down Washington St. via cab after having dinner and drinks with friends in Midtown, what a mess. Cops every where, big HPD cop trucks filled with people being arrested, looked like one damn good party!
I played a wedding tonight. Grooms family was of Irish descent. McCauley was the name. They had a bagpiper come in an play for about 10-15 minutes before our band started. I don't think I've even been close to one before. Those things are damned loud. Anyway, I'm not really Irish, but I'm part Scots-Irish, aka Ulster Scot (the McCloud side of the family). That's why I like this scene from the Simpsons. <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/PszyKC4RD1I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
