    Wonder if YM's dad and mum would give out "red pockets" to everyone in Rox.

    My wife's step mom is from Hong Kong and she gives us "red pockets" for our birthday, Christmas, any other special occasions all the time.

    Red Pockets rock!

    What are Red Pockets?

    (and a Happy Lunar New Year... I may not know too much about it, but I definitely think it should be a work and school holiday :) )

    Red pockets are red envelopes with money inside. They are passed out as gifts for the new year.

    Yes. And it's adults giving out to kids. Actually whoever is not married yet can get it. So I wonder if YM's parents will pass out to SF, CM etc.

    This is the most important holiday for Chinese.
