I'm excited because this will be our first Christmas/Hanukkah at home. In the past, it's always been at my wife's parents. Now that we have a 3 yr old and another on the way, we're finally convinced all that we're not traveling for holidays any more. We finally have the opportunity to set our own traditions. I have never seen Austin on Thanksgiving or Christmas because we've either been in San Antonio or The Woodlands for each one since we've been together (10 years...9 in Austin). 12 days from now and I'm Snowboarding on the slopes of the Columbia Mountains. SilverStar Resort in Vernon, BC...Canada. I love this time of the year. My parents are visiting from Saudi Arabia on wed. Can't wait. My first father son trip ever is the ski trip. I can't wait...I'm almost 25...lol.
