Man , man, man! We disagree on everything! While I find Matthews to be a very talented man, I've NEVER liked his music I put him with SRV and Hendrix.... People I respect but won't listen to.
Hey, at least you didn't say that he was a gay (not that there's anything wrong with that), herion addicted, untalented jackass.
That's what I used to think. Top 5 DMB Songs: 1. Bartender 2. Drive In Drive Out (that...is bad as sh*t) 3. Rapunzel 4. #41 5. Lie In Our Graves Albums: 1. Crash 2. Busted Stuff 3. Crowded Streets 4. I'm with ima - I used to not think too much of Dave (even though I had the first 2 albums) but I have become a convert. My top 5 DMB songs: 1. Crash Into Me 2. Satellite 3. The Stone 4. Cry Freedom 5. Ants Marching My top 5 DMB albums: 1. Crash 2. Under the Table and Dreaming 3. Between These Crowded Streets 4. Busted Stuff 5. Everyday My top 5 DMB live albums: I have yet to get a live album (but I am working on it). My top 5 shows: I have not made it to a show yet - I really wanted to go to that one that RM95 went to in Antioch. Maybe one day we can all go to one in Houston - I would fly in for something like that.
i'm in the same boat as ima and Manny. hated the guy for years, now they're one of my favorite artists. songs: #41 best of whats around ants marching so much to say two step (hard to choose just 5...) albums: crash uttad before these crowded streets remember two things busted stuff live albums: red rocks (duh) listener supported chicago folsom field haven't heard central park yet... only been to one show as well, but it did kick serious a$$.
i still dont like dmb. I might keep the station on him, but I am not going to **** my pants for him. each its own.
I know. I still can't believe it. I think next year, for the show here, I'm either going to get him a Texans jersey or a Rockets jersey with the number 41 and his name on the back. I'll try to find out where they stay, then either have him sign it for me or see if he'll where it on stage.
This might sound dumb, but I could never get past that stupid little dance Dave does while he plays. I hate his voice too.
