What is the best food to eat to cure a hangover? What do you crave when hungover? I feel like ****, I cant decide what to eat...
if you can handle it, menudo works like a charm. And drink some tomato juice with freshly squeezed lime in it.
A hangover is due in large part to dehydration so soup is good. You also want something easy on the stomach so probably chicken soup.
Menudo at Taquería Arandas or Tepatitlán or La Michoacana. The spices in that will neutralize any dry-heaving or hangover'ish feel to your stomach. DO NOT drink any more.
Yessir... The spiciness and steaminess of its aromatic awesomeness help clear my sinuses after a long night of smoking twice as many cigarettes as usual. Plus, you can get the iced coffee w/ condensed milk.
I don't know...I guess it's not much different than the menudo or chicken soup suggestions though. Doesn't sodium help you retain water? Or is that just a Gatorade-driven myth? Either way, Pho does the trick for me.
It doesn't make a whole lot of sense on it's face, but it works somehow. But as Dallas posted, it's seems like most of the suggestions also contain high amounts of sodium (i.e. chicken soup, menudo, tomato juice). I also think it has something to do with just putting food into your stomach, so you're probably more inclined to eat something you actually want to eat.
The key is eating greasy food before you go to sleep, not after you already woke up or it's too late. The quickest way to get rid of a hangover in the morning is to take a B-Complex vitamin, double dose of ibuprofen, food, and slam down water. Even if you are sick of drinking water continue to drink as much as possible.
