For me I think Louis XVI would have been very interesting, aside from the Gullitine.

Russian history has always intrigued me, so Trotsky for me

I just got done reading The Cold Six Thousand by James Ellroy, and if a quarter of the speculation about what went down between JFK and RFK's assasinations, I'd love to be nothing more than I a fly on the wall in some of the discussions that did or did not take place. That's not really someone important though, and I don't wear dresses that often, so I won't say Hoover.

I'll go with Martin Luther King, Jr. It'd be nice to have that kind of conviction in the face of such adversity and threats. I'm not sure I'd have it now.

Didn't Solomon have like a 1000 wives, the wisdom gig, peace, prosperity, and pals with God? That sounds pretty OK.

    Hugh Heffner

Not really important but rich and lots of hotties.

If it had to be someone important I think I'd go with Jimi Hendrix.

Not the right kind of important?

Lewis or Clark. The exploration of North America would have been the ultimate adventure.

I wish that I could've been around in Jesus's time, so if he really rose from the dead, I would be there and would not have any doubts about God.

I guess I would want to be him too. Do you think that Jesus was really the Son of God, or a phony?

I'm with VooDooPope. Hugh Heffner is who I would want to be. I saw MTV Cribs the other day and he was just walking around his mansion with beautiful women everywhere. It was at this moment that I said he is the luckiest man alive ever. What a pimp.

Neil Armstrong, or even one of the guys in Mission Control. That would be an awesome experience.

    Congrats, Smeg!

I wish that I could've been around when the Earth was formed. Then I would know if there was a God or if evolution is true.

    Dutch Explorer, Captain Dirk Hartog.

Made the first recorded discovery of Australia. He looked around, didn't find anything interesting, nailed a commerative dish to a tree, and left....with no more Dutch explorers to follow.

I'm not one to think much about being someone else, but it would be so cool to dis Australia like that for all of history to remember.
