The situation in Iran is different than in Gaza. First, in Iran they have one oppressive overlord - their government. In Gaza there are two oppressive overlords - Hamas and Israel. When two of your enemies are fighting - it is best to try and avoid getting involved.
I can understand that I think that's a fair stance even though it may not be something I totally agree with- But just seeing that video really gave me what I needed because deep down I thought the vast majority are with Hamas and they may still be truly, But this guy was so brave to call out Hamas and give them the literal finger and plead with those there to share that video and his words and I really wish him the best- This is the type of person that should have a future in gazan government imo - a true leader right there Does it mean he needs to have warm, fuzzy feelings for Israel? absolutely not but does he have a point with his words? Absolutely! "Hamas does NOT represent us" were his closing words - well stated !
I'm confident more people are with Hamas in Gaza now after the past half year. The IDF is the best recruiter for Hamas. They are very good at that and are efficient at it. It is probably the one thing they are the most competent in.
How did you truly feel as a pro Hamas supporter when that doctor condemned Hamas in Gaza ? If more people were "with Hamas" How did he hold a largely unopposed audience so long? How is it that his words were shared that ultimately puts an ugly spin on the gazan government of Hamas? Had to hurt your psyche a bit I imagine but that was refreshing to see for me however What we have seen from civilians: Oct 7 - yay we killed Jews... June 10 - this government of Hamas is NOT working, GOD will condemn Hamas and does not represent us !
I'm sure there are plenty of Palestinians who don't like Hamas but that doesn't mean they like the IDF and Israel. The problem is that while Hamas is horrible for most Palestinians there is very little incentive to make peace and cooperate with Israel. In the last few decades even when there haven't been terror attacks by Hamas or other Palestinians Palestinians have been collectively punished in both Gaza and the West Bank. They have been given no control of their borders or economy and seen more of their land taken over by settlers. This is why I question whether the longterm strategy by Netanyahu and Likud is actually making Israel any safer. Judging by Gantz's resignation and the mass protests in Israel itself it appears many Israelis feel the same way.
Is it impossible to make your point without lying? He said it in response to your post and countless times before, why do you call yourself a Christian when you twist the truth to make false points? you don’t speak or act in a manner that is lockstep with Christ
Zero surprised some leftist news outlets are mad that Israel rescued 4 of its citizens by force . lol Definitely 8 minutes of perfection and well said !
The UNSC has voted to back the latest ceasefire plan and plan to get all the hostages back. Protests are ongoing in Israel to accept it. Hamas hasn’t officially responded yet. I’m still pessimistic that both sides can accept a peace deal but it seems like many Israelis want this to end and Hamas is severely degraded.
