That's too long. I guess Ninja Gaiden is going to have to hold me over. Halo is the best video game of all time.
Wish I had an Xbox because the PC Halo sucks. I have almost a top of the line PC and it still runs like crap.
Not that I don't believe you (I'd be surprised if they make the April date) but where/who did you hear this from?
Halo 2's release date has been April for at least the last three or four months. Ninja Gaiden got pushed from December to February.
Check every website, it lists April, and like stated above, its been like that for months, it was first stated first qtr of 2004 so i was expecting it before summer. Yea it also sucks that Ninja Gaiden got delayed, but there is plenty of Xbox games out there to keep u hold over till April. NFL Street is coming out next month which is going to be great.
Roger, I just thought there was some recent announcement that I missed. PGR2 will keep me pretty busy until then. Or else I will just try to beat Halo on Legendary again. Beating T&R on legendary was probably my greatest VG accomplishment in years.
When Halo 2 comes out, anybody who wants to get beaten down on XBOX live just let me know. Prepare to be sniped, pistoled, and subsequently humped vigorously.
Ninja Gaiden I got a demo of and it looks promising! it has all the old Ninja gaidens hidden inside the game but you have to do certain things to unlock it! Sonic heroes will be out soon!!!!!! lol
Hehe I'll tell some friends that. I'm no where NEAR in their league, but I play with guys who formed 2 of the top 6 teams at the AGP Tournament in Nashville (national tournament). Also got some friends who are almost as good. Shoot I like to think I'm above average and I still get continually stomped. I recommend (if you don't have it already) gettin XBConnect on your computer and hooking up through that. The guys I play with (Acer, David, Ronin, Melkia, Killer N, B Dogg) usually go there rather than Live.
I work at a local Gamestop, and up until about a week ago, our computers had Halo's shipping date as March 4th, now it just says April, which is hardly specific. Will probably get pushed back even farther, cause that's just how these things go.
I played on XBC last year, but this year haven't had the time to set it all up. I've played against Acer before out at Velocity. I wasn't on my game though, haha. If they were top 6 at AGP, i'm sure they could **** me up.
Well Melkia's team, the APs (Amazing Pickles, don't ask me why) lucked out in that they didn't run into either Dream Team at all and didn't get Shoot to Kill (with 2 of the top players in the world) until the finals. Personally, I can't wait to get it. The little demo they put out at E3 looks crazy, and quite a bit cleaner graphically than the original. I heard an ugly rumor that they made the pistol a bit less effective though, which is going to piss off a bunch of folks.
That's funny...because Game Informer announced the April pushback a couple of months ago. They should really read their own mag.
I'll probably get thrashed but I've had an XBOX for a year now and never picked up Halo in a store nor a rental outlet. What's this game about? I remember a guy and a girl arguing, while I was purchasing Madden 2004, and they said these exact words: Girl: "Why do you pick that stupid game up every time you see it? You already have it, get another!" Guy: "When you walk by the best video game ever, you have to still take a look." What the hell makes this game so good?
