Was hoping someone would make this thread (didn't want to do it myself since I'm not that interested in the game...not at this point anyway). I'm not waiting in line. I'm getting too old for that (as in "I don't think my body could take it"). Mine is currently winging it's way here and should be here in the morning. I will get a good night's sleep, get it first thing in the morning, and disappear into my 360 room until I start to smell funny(ier).
Don't pick it up too late...or you will be 1,000,000th out of 1,265,323 on the Halo 3 Live! Multiplayer rankings...right about where I usually am! I'll pick mine up later this week. We definite got to get some Clutch matches going on multiplayer...or even co-op.
The embargo on reviews (at least from the main sites) was in effect until yesterday afternoon, while the BBS was still down. He probably hasn't had much of a chance to post it here yet.
i got a test tomorrow but picking it up right afterward. it's going to be a long halo evening tomorrow.
if anyone wants to get some co-op action on the single player over xbox live tomorrow, i'm down. i always beat the game first before i jump into slayer and everything else.
The helmet is bigger than I thought it was. (insert "That's what she said" joke here.) My Halo room is now complete...
I'll be picking it up for my son later on this evening. I've never seen him so excited about anything in my life (he's 10).
Dude, that might be a while. I couldn't even find a used copy of Halo 2 for $20 or less a few weeks ago.
Just got mine when the Target by my office opened up, there was already a line of 4 guys waiting to buy it.. I'll play it during lunch today..
