www.montrosecrawl.com Some friends and I are putting together a pub crawl in Montrose for Halloween. We’re trying to get as many people as possible to show up in costume and go from bar to bar on Westheimer between Dunlavy and Montrose. The stops are Agora, Poison Girl, Slider’s, Boondocks, and Catbird’s. There’s no angle and no charge (you just buy your own drinks). We’re just trying to setup something that’s fun for Halloween for adults and hopefully make it a tradition. Everyone’s welcome.
Would that involve sheep? Considering what happened to the last goat in Montrose, I don't know if I'd risk a sheep.
In what can only be described as shameless self-promotion, I'm bumping this thread back up to remind everyone about The Montrose Crawl, the Halloween Night pub crawl I'm helping to organize. It's basically trick-or-treating for adults. If you like Halloween, or like drinking, or are just curious about combining the two, come join us in Montrose on Halloween Night. There's going to be drink specials, candy, giveaways, costume prizes, etc - and no tickets, no covers, no hassles. Check out www.montrosecrawl.com for all of the details. I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
haha, thanks for the link to the goat story. My dog loved that goat. To this day, when on walks in that area, she still pulls me to the house to forlornly sniff under the fence looking for that goat. so sad. sounds like a good time. i'm walking distance for that one.
I actually hung out with the goat at a party once. The owner had her on a leash just like a dog. The goat was pretty fun. I told our host that he'd need to have llama next time to top it.
I've already got plans for Halloween night. But I like near that area of Montrose and I'm always interested in stuff to do. Report back in this thread how it went!
