I purchased my halloween costume online a few months ago and figured it was fine. It is a superhero costume so it is supposed to be form-fitting. However, the top is way too large for me. The costume is made of either polyester or nylon. Either way, we tried to sew it tighter together, and the thread had difficulty weaving the fabric together.

Does anyone know of a place to get something like this taken in? Or are there other options to making it tighter? And washing doesn't shrink it one iota.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Why not stuff the upper body with shirts/socks so that you can look bigger?

I think I'm just going to take it in to a professional alteration place and hope for the best.

I think that's your best bet.

I probably won't shrink becaust it isn't made of cotton. Just wear it Fatty. It is what it is.

I've never seen a drunk superhero before, this should be good. Are you going to rescue all the alcoholic beverages from their lonely cells in those cold glass bottles entrapped behind the bar? Set them free, Fatty.

    I love Halloween.

you could try using hot glue to create inner seams.

    Fatty,

Dude - I thought you would go as Vince Vaughn. You wouldn't even need a costume for that one!
