A few points are missing. Still a great game from the Dream, nonetheless. Lever was cold-blooded.

I will never understand why these nba greatest games are never shown in full since 2 hours is enough for a game without commercials, pre-half-post game shows! Unfortunately, there are 5+ commercials of a totall of 30-45 mins!!!

When Dream gets the baseline fade a away to fall, there's nothing the other team can do at all.

    Larry Smith layup = FAIL.

This was the Rockets in late 80s and early part of 90s....Hakeem and a bunch of scrubs.

Well maybe if Mitch Wiggins and Lew Lloyd could have played the game without snorting every white line it would have been different.

    That devestated the roster.

not only great to akeem score 52, but there must've been 26 great entry passes by sleepy, max, and wiggins.

a lost art in today's NBA.

Absolutely. Today's guards don't make great entry passes.

However, with PF & C growing notoriously weak as positions, it's obvious that today's big-men don't have the coordination or reflexes to catch great entry passes like they once did either.

You know, I always wondered what it is that caused the deterioration of the PF/C positions. Perhaps the handcheck rule had something to do with it, opening up the game for perimeter players and shifting the offensive focus away from interior players and consequently, the need to make great entry passes by guards. Still, that doesn't explain the lack of raw talent, though I suppose big men primarily being coached to just rebound and block shots don't get to focus on their offensive repertoire. Will we see another dominant (and I mean Hakeem/Shaq dominant) big man in this era?

    Is his name...HASHEEM THABEET??!?!

    ...times are grim, indeed.

Well, I think any serious NBA fan will admit that forwards have to face a lot of physicality while if you sneeze at a guard they're going to the line (think Martin, Kobe, Wade, Ginobili, Parker).

As a result, today it's more of the inside-outside-'find an open perimeter guy' game and big men attempt to be rebounding and defensive specialists. I'm not sure where the finesse big men all disappeared to, though.

Illegal defense rules are also more lax, which I think has also made the entry pass more difficult.

So disappointing that the Rox couldn't win that one.

This was a good game during what I refer to as the panty hose season. However I still think the quadruple double was better which he should have gotten twice in the same season. I think it was even the same month wasn't it?

Lets see... run ads and get money or omit ads and don't get any money at all?
