Well, I get to see if this person knows what he's talking about(I don't want to adversely affect his relationship w/ the Rockets by saying his role/etc.), based on crash's thread. [IMG]

I asked Jim Boylen the same question, even whether or not signs were good or signs were bad and he said "well that's the bad thing about free agency, there's no telling". I'll determine what the smirk on his face meant if Dream resigns with the Rockets.

The team lost. 76-59. It was close before the scrubs played the first 3 minutes of the 4th.

Sean Colson is the real jack. He dribbles into dumb situations, bounces balls off of his feet and whines, etc. etc.

Langhi was booted in the fourth.

Rudy apparently didn't feel too much urgency about the Dream deal (or he has a job to do I guess), b/c he's in Utah.

I can't really write too much. My wife and I are leaving for a backpacking trip tomorrow morning and I have to go get some things for the trip. I didn't see Moe, I didn't see Darkhorse. Hopefully they'll have nice write ups.

I have some photos, including a suprise photo of Kermit. Kermit has let himself go, btw. I'll email these photos to both clutch and crispee. Hopefully one of you guys can sort through them. You'll notice that I'm not the best photographer (I'll blame it on the equipment though [IMG]; also, the Mrs. wouldn't let me get the badarse Nikon that does 45 sec. movies).

This is what happens when you send computer geeks to cover sporting events... you get ambiguous statements from phantom people, then they run off into the woods to backpack.

    ... happens everytime!

    Thanks anyway, Achebe. [IMG]

Francis3, The Cat... I didn't stick around for the post game announcements off of the speaker, and I was chatting w/ phantom people and trying to take photos so much that I didn't count all of the blocks and rebounds that Griffin had in the 2nd and 3rd. He was key to the Rockets taking the lead for a while during the third (after the Rockets sucked in the 1st quarter).

Morris wasn't spectacular but I'd say he was strong... whether or not the boxscore backs me up later is a different issue. [IMG]

Half of me likes Sean Colson, but the other half, *sigh*. You can tell when he opts off of the pick that noone else is going to get the ball this play down.

Clutch + crispee, that email is a bit large, sorry about that. I included the obligatory photo of my fuzzy daughter Stella.

Nighty night everyone! Again, I pray Darkhorse bails me out w/ my poor descriptions. Starting monday I'll take notes and try not to be spastic about the photos (hopefully I can get a nicer camera between now and then too).

Hakeem is going to re-sign with Houston [IMG]
Hakeem is going to sign with Toronto [IMG]
The Rockets have matched the Raptors offer [IMG]
Hakeem balks and appears to be going to Toronto, Indiana, Miami, insert weak Eastern Conference team here...
Hakeem more than likely coming back [IMG]

    I love you Dream
    I hate you Dream
Well no not really but why would you want to be a purple dinosaur? [IMG]
    I don't care anymore!!!
Could someone pass me my kava kava pills please?

In all seriuosness, I think it's time to cut the cord and move on to other business. Paying Dream anything beyond next year just isn't smart. Marc Jackson may not be a great player, but if he could fill Dream's role and let us sign our other guys I say go for it. And to loosely relate this to the summer games, thanks Achebe for the report [IMG]

Hey Achebe...!! Where were you? I'm sitting right now in Moe's bro's house... WE SAT BEHIND THE BENCH THE WHOLE TIME, and no guy with a think pad ever surfaced... >:|

I had my palm pilot, and Moe had his pen and pad, and we talked to 3 players... SO THERE!

hey Darkhorse, where were you guys sitting? I ended up not bringing in my machine, but I was sporting that navy blue Planet Earth shirt I was talking about....

Sorry. BTW, you probably saw me. I was sitting on the first row next to some little kids. I dabbled back and forth between sitting there and taking photos, sitting on the other side of that same row talking to the light-skinned African American that had on the Rockets stuff(he was also hanging out w/ the towel boys and the happy bald photographer that Langhi was chatting with).

When the teams played down the other way, I went down to the other side to take more photos on the offense (bahhhh... defense! [IMG]). I was standing up, caticorner(sp?) to the bench, so that I could still take left low block photos. That didn't really help too much b/c only Colson did anything on the left for the most part.

Ahh.... we'll always have Monday! [IMG]
