I love seeing him out there laughing and smiling while his teammates are ready to scrap over an opposing player fouling him hard and inadvertently knocking him to the ground.

Hakeem is back ladies and gentlemen, back and ready to close out his "final" season with a bang. He isn't hesitating on his shot. He is rebounding with no regard to his body. He is running and cutting to the basket and blocking shots. He may not be the same Hakeem of the Championship years, but I can see the excitement and hunger to win in his heart.

This is going to be a fun season!

    DAMN STRAIGHT!!!!

It is indeed a great joy to see Dream playing with the effort and joy he seemed to play with tonite!! Hope this trend continues for about 70+ games! If so, what a great way to end his last season. [IMG]

Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!

That was absolutely great to see Hakeem kick some butt! It's nice that the Rockets are looking towards Hakeem again. With Hakeem playing well, along with the new talent, we could make the playoffs which I think would be a big accomplishment considering how tough the western conference is.

"In the preseason I said that I felt good and I think I'm just starting to show that I am healthy again," Hakeem said after the Phoenix game tonight. "The more that I play, the better I feel."

Hope so then we can enjoy your last season as much as you do. [IMG] Dream, wish you the best this season.

    Bob is negative crap!!!

    (j/k Bobo)

GO HAKEEM!!! I have to agree that I want this guy going out with respectable numbers and he's putting up exactly that now. There was a point I doubted he'd even come close to averaging double-digit points this season, but at the rate he's going and improving 13-15 pts/game is not far-fetched.

It's nice to see him get a double-double again. He also popped in 19 pts and 10 rebounds in only 33 minutes of play against the Suns.

Can anybody tell me how he looked out there? Winded? Gasping for dear life?

I love Dreams game and hope my realistic attitude never gets construed as "bashing".

Dream is averaging 9.5 ppg, 6.3 rebs, and about 1 steal, block, assist, and TO in about 25 min/game. The last three games have seen a major increase but to expect Dream to be a 20/10 player is just NOT realistic. 15/8 for the season is worth contemplating asking him how much he wants for another year. Go Dream - we're smiling with ya!

Well I'll answer that....That's from a Robert Browning poem,(Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came) anyhow it's quoted in Stephen King's "Wizard and Glass" Who's main character is an old gunslinger who's time has "moved on" anyway kinda remind's me of Dream....well you asked.

It's great to see Dream have a good game. I'm hoping for more. I don't expect 19pts / 10 rebs from him anymore, which makes it all the better...

Man, he's lookin good out there. Main thing is he doesn't seem to be getting tired as quickly. And he's moving fast again. Dreamshakes again... Hopefully the other teams wake up to that and start to triple-team him again - think of the open lanes and the dishes and the illegals...

Or hopefully they won't, and Dream scores at will - just like the old days...

At any rate, I like his energy this season. Much higher than last. I'm pleasantly surprised.
