It's been leaked. I dunno if I'm supposed to post the link. It's beautiful...so beautiful. Its like the sound of happy ghosts.
I haven't listened to the album yet, but MY GOD that is one of the lamest album titles I've heard in quite sometime. I imagine that would have been the title of the next Rage Against the Machine album if they were still around, or possibly Blink 182 because they thought it "sounded cool." I don't think it could have been any more trite and obvious if it was titled <i>No Blood for Oil</i>. Please Radiohead, don't be getting all political on us now.
postt hat link, ChickenBoy! do it for the starving artists! do it for your pal Jesse, for he is an old school buddy of mine
My mind is blown. Who are you? heres the link. http://www.idioteque.it/multimedia/audio.htm And yeah, Hail to the Thief is such a disappointing title. They shoulda called it "The Gloaming"
thanks for the links. i downloaded "There, There" last night. that is going to be their first single from HTTT. can you reccomend the next best song to download? p.s. I never said you knew me or I knew you,but it is a madcrazy small world, and I hear things, oh I hear things.
I know this is going to sound dumb, but I am computer illiterate in some areas. In the links that Chicken Boy and BigM posted, can you listen to those tracks with either Real Player or Windows Media Player?? If not, what programs do you have to use to listen to these tracks?
the link that bigM posted was only good last night. there was even a note that said "we will try all night if we have to" I went there this morning and the files were not available. but "There There" sounds mellow and smooth, not too electronic, and Thom's voice is at its finest. Manny, the link that ChickenBoy provided didnt work for me. I will try the BigM link tonight.
you need to do a right click and save them! don't attempt to play them from the site they are in some weird format. once you save them rename them with a .mp3 extension... the files are still up, i just checked.
On http://www.idioteque.it/multimedia/audio.htm, you gotta rename 'em. Just add the ".mp3" extension onto the files, then you should be able to play them in Winamp. I'm really digging on "We Suck Young Blood".
Radiohead Guitarist Says Leaked Tracks 'Stolen' NY (Billboard) - As MP3 files purportedly featuring tracks from Radiohead's upcoming album "Hail to the Thief" continue to circulate online, guitarist Jonny Greenwood took to the band's official Web site on Wednesday to decry the files as "a stolen copy of early, unmixed edits and roughs." When the cuts leaked last weekend, Greenwood seemed bemused by the situation. "We're not angry really," he said at the time. "Shame it's not a package with the artwork and all, but there you go." "So yes, we're annoyed -- the songs are good on the recordings, which you can hear," he continued. "But we worked on them after this point until we were happy with them. This is why we're p---ed off -- we didn't give up on them in February (which is what you're hearing) and it's just a shame that, to your ears, we did." "So of course people will still download them and hear them, I can understand the temptation," Greenwood said. "It's not you lot I'm p---ed off about, it's just the situation I guess." In the past two days, Capitol parent EMI has sent cease-and-desist orders to a number of individuals who were hosting the files on their personal Web pages. A spokesperson says the company is "taking a variety of actions to make sure the works are protected as much as we can." link
