I got both my ear pierced today. Isn't there a way gay people wear their ear-rings. Do gay people wear one on the left, one on the right, or one in both ears. I mean, I wouldn't wanna walk around campus givin out the wrong signal, know what I mean. Someone please help.
LOL well, the way I think it is, is that if you have only one in your right ear, you're "gay" and but if you wear them in both ears or only your left you arent "gay"
I really think that myth died sometime in the early 90's when earings were a new thing. I don't think having an earing on either side or one side really means your gay or is a symbol of it.. I know it was a big thing when i was in middle school and high school when guys first starting gettnig earings. I have not recently looked at a guys earings and been like..."wonder if he is gay"
http://home.earthlink.net/~myokoyama/oldmama/gayornot.htm This is funny Another thread about this on another site. http://www.snopes.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=16;t=000942;p=1
I can't ever remeber what the myth is either, but I've had both ears peirced for awhile and as far as I can tell, I am still giving out the right signals.
always wear in just the right ear. if you only "wear it in the left ear you're a queer" see it rhymes. right is right left ear is queer.
we have a dilemma on your theory.....it rhymes both ways... right ear is queer left ear is queer.... Both rhyme
Back in the 80s when, I always heard that the right ear is wrong and the left is right. But now, what is it the right eyebrow is wrong........
I remember having this same discussion with my friends in 1996 when I got my ear pierced. Ultimately, we decided it was the left ear that represented heterosexuality and I went ahead and did it. I finally stopped wearing my earring in 2003 when people started telling me that at the age of 25 I was a little to old to be sporting that thing. Even to this day I can still see a mark where the hole used to be.
Having it on both ears is fine. Now some people have 2 on each ear, like the rapper Fabolous. It depends, different people can pull off different things...
left is right right is wrong gay being wrong (unless you're gay, but it doesn't sound like it from your original post). oh...and both is clearly bi
