alright guys, i don't really think this is the place to go for relationship help. but im going to ask yah anyways. in less in a month me and my ex-girl will be kinda celebrating a two-year anniversary. it kinda celebrating, cause we're not together. but we have been on and off the past two years. so what i need is some help. do any of yah guys have any ideas on how i would get her back on our anniversary. anything... like something romantic. that some regular guys couldn't think of. please reply with any bright ideas. i really need the help.
i have a few ideas. 1 if you have a car, and life near a cave or something. pick her up with your car and drive to a cave,in that cave you have put candles alot that there is nice light at night, and you take her there. You also will have some wine and nice food, and have diner with her in that cave with candles. 2 You can always take her to a diner in a park in the moonlight, but that isn't original. 3Make a cd for her with songs that are romantic, or songs you listned to togheter. romantic songs like: How am i supposed to live without you (michael Bolton).Against al odds (phil Collins).and others. 4take her to a picknick in the park (not original) 5 take her on a boat trip,(i don't know how they are called in english not a motor boat but one with peddles,i hope you understand)on a lake where there arn't alot of people 6lawn het gras in here garden in the letters:her name i love you. 7if she like animals, give her a kitten or puppy.(only if she maybe wants a animal) i hope this was of any use to you,i wil try to think of some other ideas.
Specifically, I think this is: "lawn or garden with an expanse of wet grass. Written in the dew or moisture, she finds: '(Her name), I love you.' " Overall, that post from arno_ed is a masterpiece. I don't know which suggestion I like best. The cave scenario? The M. Bolton suggestion? So many superlatives. If only I had been armed with these notions when I first pursued Mrs. B-Bob!
leehoang, Look at buying this book from Amazon.com: Good luck. BTW - there is a section for winning someone back.
thanks B-Bob, that was what i meant.my english isn't always great. especially when i have to write it, i can speak english,i just can't write it
I'd counsel against arno_ed's suggestion #7, despite his qualifier. You have to commit to taking care of a pet, and too often the "adorable" kitten or puppy get dumped on the street once the novelty's gone. Making things by hand can be a hit, but you have to be careful. Such presents are usually successful for their symbolic value (the fact that you put the effort into making something) rather than the presents themselves. This is odd, however, since you're not dating presently. Could you clarify your situation? If she's not interested in getting together with you (assuming that's your intent), she may not welcome your efforts to "celebrate" your anniversary. Something to consider.
i had my own second toughts by this one.You must be sure she want a animal.or you want to take care of it if she doesn't like it. i agree, hand made things can be great, but it is the symbolic value that counts. if she like symolisme you can give her a necklace with the stone of love on it.(i don't know wich one it is). this is true also, you can only use my methods if you think she is interested, otherwise some of them like #6 can look stupid.
It's going pretty good, B-Bob. We went out this past Friday and saw "Sweet Home Alabama" and are going out again this Saturday. It's like the more I am around her, the more I find myself being drawn to her. Or let's put it like this: I may not marry this woman, but this is the type of woman that I hope I marry (if it happens).
hey guys thanks for all the help... some of these are actually kinda funny like codell's. lol. arno_ed, you got some pretty good ideas like number 2 and 5. but i wouldn't know how to make that happen. do any of you guys know of any place or thing that would be cool to do like around houston. for example like a nice place to eat or a really nice hotel. i don't know what to say. im running out of ideas. i wanna do something really special, but i just can't figure out what am i gonna do.
i do not live near houston,i live in europe,i know romantic places in europe. So if you are going to Europe i can help you sorry. but arn't there any lakes?a boat on a lake under the ful moon(or any other Moon)is romantic. good luck i wish i could help ou more, tell us how it went.
in high school for an anniversary i took a girl to a top of a parking garage in the galleria area which looked out over the whole town...all the buildings were lit up for Christmas time...i picked up a nice dinner on the way there...had her meet me at a place near the galleria...had her get in the car with a blindfold on...took her to the top of the garage where i had a table set up very nice with candles and music... took some talking to the security guard for the building the week before...some arrangments with the restaurant ahead of time... i think she could clearly see i put some thought and work into it...the view was great...and then used a stereo i brought with me for soft music and dancing... wasn't very expensive...just required a bit of time setting everything up...and sneaking my parents' good tablecloth and linens out of the house!
Don't listen to any of these compassionate sappy types trying to give you advice. If you want ex sex then here is how: Follow these rules: 1 - Don't call 2 - Don't pay for her dinner 3 - Do see other girls and feel free to tell her about it 4 - Do get drunk and have a good time 5 - Do not get dramatic or demanding with her 6 - Do act like you are over her even if you aren't 7 - Do kiss her when she has that look on her face like she is momentarily overwhelmed by how much you really don't miss her. And if you want to get the relationship kicking again then go from there. But if she isn't with you right now, then she isn't ready. She will be when you force her to think that she could lose you forever to the great wide open. Do you remember the opening scene in Swingers? No greater relationship advice could possibly be given to a man trying to get his girlfriend back. Watch that and you will know what to do.
thanks again for all the advice. December 6th is the day... i'll tell yah hows it goes......after the sixth. an LeGrouper that's some pretty good tips. and hey MadMax, what building and what garage was that near the galleria area? cause i sort live near the galleria.
it's down bering drive....there's a building on the west side of that street, north of the church at westheimer....not very far down. wish i could give you the name of the security guard i talked to, but it was about 12 years ago!!! December 19, 1991...good memory, huh???
