Hall of Fame announced today with no Guy V. Lewis once again. Really sad.

Is Clyde eligible next season? Would be nice if they could be inducted together.

    This is a complete tragedy.

No offense but how the hell does Meadowlark Lemon get in ahead of Guy V. Lewis?

The man put UH basketball on the map and coached three of the NBA's greatest 50, appeared in countless NCAA tournaments and Final Fours, what more does the man have to do?

    What a farce.

Funny thing is, Eddie Sutton was also up for induction and I think he also deserves it.

Why are active coaches allowed to be inducted but players have to wait 5 years after retirement?

Maybe if he'd taught Akeem Abdul Olajuwon to box out then he'd be in.

Even though I think he should be in, being on the short end of the greatest cinderella story in the history of sports never helps your chances. Guy V should get more recognition for recruiting blacks at a SWC school, that's the angle he should play. The only problem with that is that Don Haskins really did more for blacks in college than Guy V ever did. So that's his angle. Does anyone know where Guy V ranks on the all-time wins list.

Did you guys hear David Delati (sp) on 610 yesterday afternoon. He sounded like he was going to cry about this. He cracks me up.

TGhis is a sad story, sadder due to Houston's lack of pro-active work to see Guy V get his due. East Coast bias prevails.

It would be a shame if Guy V gets in -- posthumously.

We need to put facts together and start inundating the national voices and facesd and writers about this 'oversight'.
