    yea, but you gotta wonder what a guy like that is willing to do if you insist on opening the product. he opens it, shows you there's nothing there, then he's caught. But he has a buddy, he's a criminal (in mind, at least), and he knows you have $700 cash. What do you think might happen?

    Or he refuses to open it, says screw it, and takes your money.

    This may have been the best possible ending..

    how is it a crime to give someone fake money for a fake product?

    if i knew it was a ps3.. i'd fork over the dough.

    If you give anyone a fake check for any reason it is a federal offense, investigated by the Secret Service counterfeit division and the FBI's forgery division.

    If someone sells you a fake product the penalties are not quite as stiff, but both are crimes indeed.
