He said his jumpers was just starting to fall when you all quit on him after 2 games... "let's start eating...I'm hungry." I'm not sure we're going to get Tim Duncan back up here (6 hour drive) for a measely two games. lol
Keeley and Finn, you guys are old! (Or you're rerun junkies.) I appreciate a laugh like that on a Monday morning. Thanks!
I was on red team both times. The First game, I subsituted for somebody, we won. I started the second game, and helped engineer the big lead. I went out after the big ass lead to get some air in my lungs and gatorade in my veins again. I came in for B and we won the game. Y'all see my handling after I got that rebound? I'm going to dunk on somebody when I get my conditioning back. on a side note, i hate my damn keyboard. this post took about 90 to 120 seconds long to write.
lol, I thought I played bad myself. Couldn't hit my jumpers consistently and had too many TOs. I was kinda like you Ninja, I wanted to shoot out of my slump, but I passed every once in a while too. The only guy who finished most of his shots was red(he was the Rage against the machine shirt guy right? I hate getting names mixed up hehe). Everyone was average or better on d though, so that's always a plus. Some good rebounders who actually boxed out too. I'll take those kinda players on my team anyday over pure shooters who wont mix it up. Definitely a cool time. Wish it had been a few games longer though. What can I say, I'm used to playing 3 hours at a time. Oh and glad to hear you didna hurt your knees B, that first fall looked a lil scary.
It was the first time I played a pick up game with no injury since the foot surgery. I'm just glad I was able to go out there and play more than 10 minutes. Hopefully I'll have a little of my shooting touch back so I down have to drive to the lane and dish or put up a bad shot. The interior defense was pretty good against this 5'7" ball hog. B
