I hadn't touched a video game system since I was 13 and playing Metroid till about a month ago when I started playing Halo2 on Xbox.

I swear i'm now completely addicted to this game! I play for like an hour every day! Don't tell me anymore good ones as I have no more time to spare!!!

No, but it's at the top of my XBox 360 rental queue. It's definitely a rental from what I've read. Ten to fifteen hours of gameplay tops. It will be nice to play probably the best western FPS to date on the next gen.

I'll be checking this out on the 360, probably not a buy game... but a rental for sure. I love westerns and wish more western games were made.

It's Grand Theft Auto in the old west. I haven't played RDR, but I don't think they are very similar. It's a good game, but there just ins't enough. It's perfect for renting, I wish I had just done that. The world is sort of big, but a lot of it is empty space. The main story missions only take about about 6 hours to finish.

I wish GTA would incorporate this games shooting mechanics, they work pretty damn well. You also have a bullet time thing called sharp shooter that you can only do with your pistols. It puts you in first person mode and you can aim at regular speed while everybody else in in slow motion.

Anyways, I definately say rent this one and hopefully, the sequel will have way more stuff.

I haven't played RDR, but Oski's comparison of Grand Theft Auto in the old west is pretty good. The voice acting is great in the game, and there are cut scenes, missions, and side missions.

I like the way they worked in boss mobs to the setting. It does look like there could be more content. I will probably finish the game in the next few days. GTAIII took me much longer to finish.

But there are a lot of side missions, and I guess I will just have to try the game on a harder difficulty session when I am done. It is a lot of fun, and I will be sad when I finish the game.

i rented it last week from bbuster for the ps2... i beat it today, the final boss was pretty difficult but the game was fun and worth playing.

red dead revolver was similar to this one, but i think the story is more developed in gun. i didnt beat rdr though
