This morning I was forced to listen to 610 for awhile after 10 am and it was John Lopez as the main voice with some other guy. I came to the conclusion that he is so bad I would rather listen to Rich Lord. I'm curious if I'm alone in this. If you had no choice, which one do you got? Mr. Ratings, Rich Lord or 790 Castoff, John Lopez?
If he talked about drinking a diet coke from the Holy Grail again, I was gonna drive down there and shove some alum in his mouth. Who gives a rats about what Brad Lidge has to say....just wasted radio space.
I love Marc vandermeer. I didn't realize how good he was. John lopez sucks. I don't listen to 610 after ten unless rob costa is flying solo.
I am actually ok with VanderCarr and Lopez but Lopez by himself is tough HOWEVER Lord is just unlistenable by himself.
We go from the Adam Clanton Experience after 10a to John Lopez. The only reason Rich is listenable is because MattJ is with him, alone Rich would probably be like John Lopez.
Rich Lord is bad but Lopez is completely horrible. He makes me want to hurt him. Lord just makes me want to cuss him out. Lopez is a spurs fan and you can tell when he discusses the rockets. He also tries to be modest but he is totally full of himself....... worse than Lord.
I have no listened to the new show After all the complaints about Andre Ware . . . is Lopez worse? Rocket River
Ware was just kind of there, He didn't contribute much, but he didn't make you want to jump out of your moving vehicle in the middle of the freeway.
Rich Lord without a doubt. Lopez is the worst radio I've ever heard in my life (basing from monsters of show) Lopez would fit in perfectly in san antonio.
The number of sports radio threads on this forum is just one of those mysteries that can't be explained. If a week goes by without someone explaining how bad certain radio personalities are, the board gets antsy, and a new thread is started. It's strange. Personally, I find them all relatively on the same level. It's hard not to like Matt, Adam, Charlie P. better then all the others...but not so much better that I care that much. Granted, I don't spend a ton of time in the car, but do drive to and from work every day and I my priority is (1) find station not on a commercial, (2) find station discussing actual sports, (3) find station discussing sports that I'm interested in (for example, continuing to discuss Rush Limbaugh right now would make me switch the station), and lastly, (4) find station with radio personality I like. Honestly, it rarely gets to #4.
